Freshfields is advising GIC on its acquisition of a strategic minority stake in Envu

Global law firm Freshfields is advising GIC on its acquisition of a strategic minority stake in Envu, a leading pure-play environmental science solutions provider, from Cinven.

Envu, established in 2022 through a carve-out from Bayer’s Environmental Science Professional business, is a global leader in environmental science, offering solutions to foster healthier environments, manage pests, and control vector-borne diseases. Cinven will retain a majority stake in Envu following the transaction. Completion of the transaction is subject to customary regulatory approvals.
