Freshfields strengthens client and growth leadership with the appointment of Michelle Holford as Chief Marketing and Business Development Officer
Global law firm Freshfields today announces the appointment of Michelle Holford as Chief Marketing and Business Development Officer, reinforcing the firm's continued focus on client relationships, market engagement and sustainable growth across its global platform.
Holford brings more than 25 years' experience leading client, business development and commercial functions in the professional services sector. She previously held senior leadership roles at Freshfields, including Head of Client Solutions and Head of Marketing and Business Development for London.
In the role, Holford will lead Freshfields' global marketing and business development strategy, helping deepen client relationships, strengthen the firm's market position and support growth across its global platform. Working closely with the firm's leadership, partners and client teams, she will help shape how the firm engages with clients, develops market opportunities and connects the firm's capabilities across markets and practices.
