Michelle Holford

Michelle Holford is Chief Marketing and Business Development Officer, responsible for leading Freshfields' global marketing and business development function. Working closely with senior leadership, partners and client teams, she helps shape and deliver the firm's commercial strategy, supporting its strategic priorities and enhancing the experience it provides to clients worldwide.

Michelle brings more than 25 years' experience leading commercial, marketing and business development teams in the professional services sector. She has a strong track record of developing innovative client programs, strengthening market position and helping organizations translate strategy into sustainable business success.

Michelle previously held senior leadership roles at Freshfields between 2010 and 2018, including Head of Client Solutions and Head of Marketing and Business Development for London.

Her focus is on bringing together the firm's expertise across practices, sectors and regions, enabling teams to respond to evolving client needs and capitalize on opportunities in a rapidly changing market.
