Freshfields advises Nordex on its €2.475bn syndicated guarantee facility agreement
Global law firm Freshfields has advised Nordex SE in connection with its successful closing of its €2.475bn syndicated guarantee loan agreement.
The loan agreement has a term of five years and was provided by a syndicate of international banks. The loan agreement allows Nordex to utilise bank guarantees in various currencies to secure its international project business. In addition, the loan agreement includes an ESG component which takes into account several ESG KPIs which are defined in detail in the loan agreement.
Leading banks of the transaction were Commerzbank, Intesa Sanpaolo and UniCredit.
