Pro Bono Lawyer Rebecca Kerr Recognized Among Next Generation of Leaders at 2026 WIPL Awards

Mar 2 2026

Freshfields pro bono lawyer Rebecca Kerr has been recognized as part of the “Next Generation of Leaders” for the 2026 Women, Influence and Power in Law Awards. This award recognizes women lawyers under the age of 40 at a law firm who have made meaningful advancements in service delivery, public or societal interest, or otherwise worked to improve the profession or community around them.

Rebecca is the firm’s first dedicated U.S. Pro Bono Lawyer, a role in which she established a cohesive, strategic pro bono framework across all U.S. offices, working closely with the US pro bono partner and global pro bono team. She serves as the central resource for partners, counsel, associates, and business services professionals seeking to engage with pro bono work, offering guidance on everything from individual case strategy to broad partnership development. Rebecca has built and expanded relationships with dozens of legal services organizations nationwide, creating opportunities for Freshfields lawyers to support asylum seekers, survivors of violence, veterans, low-income tenants, and countless others.
