Freshfields advises Cinven on strategic investment in Grant Thornton Czech Republic
Global law firm Freshfields is advising longstanding client Cinven on its agreement to enter into a strategic investment in Grant Thornton Czech Republic. This latest transaction follows Cinven’s strategic investments in Grant Thornton UK and, subject to regulatory approvals and customary closing conditions, Grant Thornton Germany.
Grant Thornton Czech Republic is a leading, innovative player in the high-growth Czech professional services market. Cinven’s investment will facilitate accelerated growth of the firm and facilitate closer cooperation with Grant Thornton UK and Grant Thornton Germany to strengthen the group’s position as a leading professional services firm in key European markets. The transaction is subject to anti-trust approvals and customary closing conditions.
