Freshfields assisted Iveco Group in the sale of Iveco Defence to Leonardo

Global law firm Freshfields assisted Iveco Group in the agreement to sell Iveco Defence to Leonardo for Euro 1.7bn.

The transaction is part of a broader industrial strategy of Iveco Group and represents a significant step in consolidating Leonardo's land-based business, strengthening its leadership in the European defense sector. 

Freshfields’ pan-European team was coordinated by our Italian offices led by partner Nicola Asti and senior associate Giulio Politi, supported by senior associate Vittoria Deregibus, associate Domitilla D’Ambra togheter with associate Ludovico Bruno and trainee Matteo Piccione.
