Freshfields ASIL Young Arbitrator Debate
Freshfields and the American Society of International Law (ASIL) invite you to the next installment of our Young Arbitrator Debate Series – co-sponsored by the ASIL Howard M. Holtzmann Research Center for the Study of International Arbitration and Conciliation.
At this event, speakers will debate the following motion: "This House believes that arbitral tribunals should not be empowered to adjudicate human rights counterclaims against investors."
The debate will be moderated by Freshfields' International Arbitration Senior Associate Brianna Gorence and will include Charlotte Verdon (Associate – Foley Hoag, New York) and Erin Collins (Senior Associate – Three Crowns LLP, Washington DC) as the debaters.
The debate will be preceded by introductory remarks by International Arbitration Partner Caroline Richard and followed by a networking reception.
