Freshfields is delighted to host day two of the Water Lawyers Conference 2026 at our London office, bringing together in-house counsel and sector specialists to explore the evolving legal and regulatory landscape across the water industry.

Building on the discussions from day one, our programme will focus on the key competition, regulatory and infrastructure challenges shaping the sector, alongside practical insights into emerging risks and opportunities.

The agenda will cover a range of timely topics, including class actions, developments in price controls and appeals, AI innovation and legal privilege, and the latest market movements in project finance, procurement and infrastructure investment. Sessions will be led by Freshfields partners and specialists, alongside leading external voices including David Bailey KC and Christopher Davis (Oxera, Head of Water).

Drawing on our market-leading utility regulation expertise, the day is designed to provide practical insight, encourage open discussion and offer valuable networking opportunities with peers from across the sector.
