Carla Sung Ah Yoon is an associate in our Washington, D.C. office. Her practice focuses on commercial arbitration, investment treaty arbitration, and cross-border litigation. She has represented multinational clients in high-stakes commercial and investment treaty arbitrations under ICSID, UNCITRAL, JAMS, and other arbitral rules, with experience spanning the oil and gas, mining, and biotechnology sectors. She also represents clients in proceedings to recognize and enforce arbitral awards in U.S. courts.
Before joining Freshfields, Carla worked in humanitarian relief and refugee protection in Egypt, Uganda, and India.
