Fabian Walden specialises in litigation and arbitration. He advises and represents national and international companies in disputes concerning all areas of business and commercial law.
His practice focuses on enforcement proceedings and disputes arising in crisis situations, such as distressed debt, corporate restructuring or insolvency. He is a member of the firm's Insolvency Disputes and Real Estate Litigation Skills Groups.

- Representing several foreign financial investors in the enforcement of a securitised loan in the amount of EUR 300 million: successful advice and representation of the lenders and the land charge creditor in six complex disputes with the borrower and its supporting parties, including an action for repayment of the loan and defence against several enforcement remedies brought by the borrower.
- Representing a leading global insurance company in its defense against a counter enforcement action (Vollstreckungsabwehrklage), by which the plaintiff challenged the enforcement of a notarial acknowledgment of debt.
- Advising and representing a major international bank in connection with a claim for damages against the successful bidder for a property in a forced auction and the individuals behind that bidder.
- Advising an energy provider in a dispute over the dissolution of a joint venture, in which the parties cooperate on the provision of telecommunications and IT services and broadband expansion.
- Advising and representing a global OEM in its worldwide defence against compliance-related customer claims brought against the OEM and its dealers, including representing the OEM in a cross-border collective action in German courts.
- Representing several global corporations from different business sectors in the context of appraisal proceedings following structural measures under company law.
