Based in Milan, Giacomo Vergallo is an associate in our dispute resolution practice group.

Giacomo assists Italian and international clients in relation to commercial and financial litigations mainly in the fields of M&A advisory, derivatives, investment services, and corporate governance, including shareholders litigations. He has also experience in enforcement proceedings, as well as in the recognition and enforcement of foreign awards and judgments.

Giacomo has strong background in international sanctions, advising clients on compliance matters and assisting them in dealing with competent authorities.

He joined the firm in 2021. Before joining Freshfields, he worked for a leading law firm in Rome
