Maria-Clara Van den Bossche

Maria-Clara is Counsel in our Brussels office and a member of the global dispute resolution team.

She has extensive experience in (cross-border) commercial litigation, class actions and mass claims, unfair market practice issues, enforcement of foreign judgments and arbitral awards, and disputes arising in the digital economy. 

Maria-Clara has a strong track record, having represented clients in high-profile disputes before all levels of the Belgian courts. She works closely with both Belgian and international clients to navigate disputes with precision and resilience. In 2024, she was seconded to a tech company for nine months.

Maria-Clara speaks Dutch, French and English, allowing her to provide support across jurisdictions, blending local expertise with a global perspective.

She is a frequent speaker and writer on topics related to civil procedure, enforcement and mass claims. 

Maria-Clara previously served as President of the Dutch-speaking Brussels Bar Association (VPG) and is currently a member of the Council of the Brussels Bar (Nederlandse Orde van Advocaten).
