Mazen is a London-based, US-qualified senior associate in our Global M&A and Capital practice.
Mazen focuses on representing issuers, sponsors and underwriters in connection with equity and debt capital markets transactions and other US and UK corporate law advice.
In 2020/2021, Mazen was seconded to the Equity Capital Markets legal team at a major US investment bank and, in 2024/2025, he was seconded to the Legal M&A team at EQT.
Mazen earned his LL.M. from Columbia Law School, where he was ranked first in his class.
Before becoming a lawyer, Mazen worked as an auditor for three years.

- Cenergy Holdings on its €200 million capital increase by way of a public offer in Belgium and Greece and private placements in various jurisdictions;
- National Bank of Greece on two domestic and international offerings and sale of a combined 32% stake in its shares by the Hellenic Financial Stability Fund for aggregate proceeds of €1.75 billion;
- Smurfit Kappa on its combination with WestRock and dual listings on the NYSE and LSE;
- Members of the Steinhoff group on Tempur Sealy’s acquisition of Mattress Firm;
- UBS on its acquisition of Credit Suisse;
- Yara Clean Ammonia on its proposed IPO;
- The bookrunners on the sell-down of Tadawul shares by Saudi Arabia’s Public Investment Fund;
- JT International Financial Services on its senior notes offering;
- Advent International and Rubix Group on Rubix’s proposed IPO;
- Dr. Martens on its IPO;
- The underwriters on the rights issue by Whitbread;
- Smiths on the dual track spin/sale of its medical division;
- SSP Group on its cashbox placing;
- The underwriters on the IPO of Watches of Switzerland Group;
