About
Julian advises and represents clients in complex commercial and business law disputes before state courts and in arbitration.
A key focus of his practice is corporate litigation, in particular management liability, post-M&A disputes, pre- and post-shareholder meeting litigation, and appraisal proceedings.
He also advises on product liability matters and defends companies against mass claims.
Another of his focus areas is supporting clients in managing business-critical civil liability risks beyond contentious proceedings, including those arising from compliance and cyber incidents. Julian assesses the legal and commercial implications of such events and works with clients to develop the way forward, with the aim of containing liability and reputational risks at an early stage.
As a litigator, he has many years of experience representing clients in court. In proceedings before the German Federal Court of Justice, his clients benefit from the close relationships he has built over the years with the counsel admitted to practice before the German Federal Court of Justice, with whom he prepares and strategically manages such proceedings.
He speaks German, English, and Spanish.
