Miranda is an Associate in our international arbitration group and public international law practices, based in London.
Miranda acts on international commercial and investment treaty arbitrations, public international law and arbitration-related court proceedings. She has acted on arbitrations under ICSID, UNCITRAL, ICC and LCIA rules, and has experience across a variety of industries, including pharma, hospitality, oil and gas, energy and telecommunications.
Miranda is a Solicitor in England and Wales, and an Attorney at the New York bar. Miranda has also spent time in the firm’s Washington, DC office.

Miranda’s experience includes representing and advising:
- A property investor in a £1.3bn post-M&A arbitration arising out of the divestment of a luxury hotel business;
- A global financial investor on claims arising from its acquisition of a specialty pharmaceutical company;
- An international oil company in arbitration proceedings against an African State regarding breaches of a stabilised tax regime in a petroleum agreement;
- An international pharmaceutical company on a potential arbitration relating to a licence termination;
- An international mining company on the enforcement of an UNCITRAL investment treaty award in England and Wales;
- A State in relation to treaty interpretation, international claims commissions and procedural law of international organisations;
- UN Special Rapporteurs on international criminal law and comparative constitutional law; and
- An NGO on human rights violations in domestic criminal proceedings.
