Raisa is an associate in our Dispute Resolution practice based in Washington, DC.
Prior to joining Freshfields, Raisa externed as a law clerk for the US Department of Justice Office of Foreign Litigation and Office of International Judicial Assistance, and as a legal intern at the United States District Court for the District of Columbia. During law school, Raisa worked as a student attorney in the GW Law Immigration Clinic, served as Editor-in-Chief for the International Law in Domestic Courts Journal, and represented GW at the 2025 Willem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot in Hong Kong. Prior to law school, Raisa worked in the US Senate for three years.
She speaks Bangla, Hindi, Urdu, English, and Spanish.
