Marcel Neuhauser is an Associate at Freshfields' Vienna office and a member of the firm’s Dispute Resolution Practice Group. His practice focuses primarily on the regulatory aspects of transactions, with a particular emphasis on foreign direct investment (FDI) control.
Marcel advices international clients in navigating the complexities of FDI approval processes, ensuring the seamless clearance of cross-border transactions. Additionally, he advises clients on compliance and economic sanctions matters, including export controls.
He regularly serves as an external lecturer at the University of Salzburg. Prior to joining Freshfields, Marcel gained experience at another leading corporate law firm in Vienna.
