Billy Lui

Billy Lui is a senior associate in the Asia dispute resolution group, based in our Hong Kong office. He is a commercial disputes and regulatory specialist whose practice spans both contentious and non-contentious matters. He has particular expertise in compliance and risk management, internal and regulatory investigations, and defending clients in enforcement proceedings.

Billy has extensive experience advising international financial institutions, listed companies, directors, senior executives and multinational corporations on regulatory investigations and complex commercial disputes. His work covers a wide range of issues, including financial misconduct, white-collar crime, internal controls, and anti-bribery and corruption, often in a multi-jurisdictional context.

Beyond the financial services sector, Billy acts for clients across a variety of industries including telecommunications, pharmaceuticals, aviation, energy, real estate, legal, accounting, travel and leisure, luxury retail, food and beverage, and fashion.

Billy is admitted as a solicitor in Hong Kong. He speaks fluent English, Cantonese and Mandarin.
