Yeji is an associate in our San Francisco office where she is a member of the firm’s strategic risk and crisis management practice.
Yeji focuses her practice on artificial intelligence regulation, data privacy, cybersecurity, and other tech regulatory matters. She counsels AI developers and digital health companies on the design and launch of AI-powered products and features, developing risk mitigation strategies that address privacy, product liability, ethics, and consumer protection issues. She also advises on data strategies, including counseling on the evolving privacy and AI regulatory landscape and negotiating data agreements.
Prior to joining Freshfields, Yeji was an associate in the data, privacy, and cybersecurity practice at an international law firm, where she represented tech companies in federal and state investigations involving AI, content moderation, COPPA, ROSCA, and consumer health data issues. Yeji is fluent in Korean.
