About

Julia advises on all fields of individual and collective employment law and pensions, with a dedicated focus on complex national and cross‑border M&A transactions as well as employment and pension restructurings/de-risking strategies.

In this context, she advises international and national clients on all aspects of employment matters — from strategic advice, employment due diligences (buy- and sell-side), works council matters to post‑closing matters such as employment integration and harmonization. She also regularly represents clients in works council negotiations, particularly regarding implementation plan and social plan negotiations, and in employment disputes before German labour courts.

As a member of our German and international pensions practice, Julia specializes on advising on complex pension matters in the context of M&A transactions and internal reorganizations. She advises on various pensions and complex CTA matters, including the transfer of CTA funding assets, as well as on global and German pension de‑risking strategies. In this context, Julia has advised various clients — on both the sell‑side and the buy‑side — on German pension buy‑outs and regularly represents clients in pension law disputes before German labour courts.

Julia also advises on whistleblowing matters and internal investigations. In this context, she supported various of our clients with the design and implementation of global and German whistleblowing structures.
