Alice is a partner in the firm’s people and reward practice in London. Her practice covers both day-to-day advisory work and advice on the impact of corporate transactions on employees and their compensation arrangements, as well as establishing new equity plans including bespoke executive plans and international all-employee arrangements. She has a particular focus advising listed companies on board succession processes.
Alice is a Band 1 ranked adviser in Chambers, renowned for her unparalleled knowledge on incentives and executive compensation matters. She is highly valued for delivering practical and innovative solutions to her clients' challenges.
In addition, Alice is an elected member of the Firm’s Board and a governor of a local primary school.
Alice’s experience includes advising:
- Beazley on its recommended takeover by Zurich;
- Allfunds on its recommended takeover by Deutshe Borse;
- Hargreaves Lansdown on its recommended takeover by a consortium including CVC and Nordic Capital;
- bp on its agreement to sell a 65% stake in Castrol to Stonepeak;
- AstraZeneca on the share plan aspects of the harmonisation of its listing structure;
- Smiths Group on the dual track sale / demerger of its medical division and its detection division;
- Numerous companies on hiring and firing of senior executives (including FTSE100 and FTSE250 companies on board succession processes);
- On the employment and share plan aspects of the IPOs of HBX Group, Pod Point, Dr Marten’s, Deliveroo, trainline, Pepco Group, Funding Circle, Vivo Energy, Convatec, SSP Group and Sports Direct International.
