Florence is an associate in the Brussels office and a member of the Disputes, litigation and arbitration group. Her practice focuses on commercial litigation, international arbitration and white-collar investigations.
Florence obtained a Master of Laws from the University of Brussels and an L.L.M. in Intellectual Property Law from Queen Mary University of London. She is a member of the Brussels Bar, the CEPANI 40 and the Women’s White Collar Defence Association.
She speaks French, Dutch and English.

Florence has represented and advised:
- a major engineering company in an ICC arbitration in relation to an EPC Contract for the construction of a power plant, with combined claims exceeding EUR 260 million;
- the Belgian subsidiary of a family office, in parallel CEPANI arbitration and Belgian court proceedings in relation to legal issues arising from the termination of the CEO mandate and management agreement;
- companies owned by two Belgian investment firms in a complex post-acquisition arbitration claim filed by the purchaser under the auspices of CEPANI, over an amount of EUR 60 million, including the enforcement of the arbitral awards against the purchaser;
- a leading multinational oil & gas company in an anti-arbitration claim filed by the Netherlands with the Belgian courts against pending ICSID proceedings;
- an Albanese company in setting aside proceedings in Belgium against a SIAC arbitral award;
- a Maltese company against various enforcement procedures in Belgium of Austrian decisions, through the attachment of its domain names;
- a Belgian listed company in sanctions proceedings before the FSMA for alleged market manipulation;
- an Irish insurance company in both civil and criminal proceedings relating to an investment fund operated as a Ponzi scheme in which Belgian policyholders were deceived by the fund managers.
