Renske is an associate in our dispute resolution practice of the Amsterdam office. She advises national and international clients from various sectors. Her experience includes commercial litigation, specifically mass claims and ESG claims, competition litigation, specifically follow-on damages, and corporate litigation, specifically governance issues.
Renske gained her legal education at the Rijksuniversiteit Groningen and the Universiteit Leiden, the Netherlands. During her studies she specialized in Civil law, completed various extra-curricular projects and gained experience at a law firm in Washington DC, the United States.

Class Actions & Mass Litigation
- Representation in ESG-related litigation, including ESG-related damages claims and advising on corporate liability risks related to sustainability and human rights. Notably, Renske is involved in representing a major Spanish oil company in a €2 billion claim concerning an oil spill.
- Defence counsel in competition-related mass litigation, involving claims of anti-competitive conduct and cartel damages (stand-alone claims and abuse of dominance).
Corporate & Commercial Disputes
- Post-M&A claims, including warranty and indemnity claims.
Private Equity & Shareholder Disputes, and Restructuring Litigation
- Represented parties in litigation before the Enterprise Chamber regarding allegations of improper management and governance related disputes amongst directors and shareholders of the group (Nardinc Groep).
- Represented a major in the fibre optic business before the Enterprise Chamber regarding governance issues and in complex restructuring and insolvency-related litigation, involving debt recovery, creditor disputes, and cross-border challenges.
