Elodie is a Partner in our People & Reward practice in Paris, advising French and international clients on all aspects of employment and labour law.
She helps clients navigate complex employment and industrial relations issues in the context of mergers and acquisitions and guides them through each stage of their integration and restructuring projects. Elodie is also regularly called on for executive severance negotiations and to manage relationships with employee representative bodies and trade unions. She has significant experience in conducting and supporting sensitive internal investigations.
Elodie plays a key role in the firm’s workstream on the new EU equal pay Directive, helping clients understand and respond to its impact on remuneration structures and incentive schemes across the European Union.
Alongside her advisory practice, Elodie represents clients in a wide range of employment-related disputes, both individual and collective.
She is fluent in French, German and English.
- BNP Paribas on its €5.1bn acquisition of AXA Investment Managers and the subsequent integration process;
- UBS on a range of labour and employment matters in connection with its acquisition of Credit Suisse and the ensuing integration measures;
- Bristol-Myers Squibb (BMS) on its $74bn acquisition of Celgene and the subsequent integration process involving more than 50 jurisdictions worldwide, the $13.4bn sale of its Otezla business and on a number of local and international HR legal projects;
- La Poste on employment law matters arising from the sale of La Poste Telecom to Bouygues Telecom;
- Borealis on the €810m sale of its Nitro business to Agrofert;
- UPM on several internal reorganisations including site closures and on all subsequent employee claims;
- Shiseido on strategic employment law issues relating to the divestment of a number of brands and workforce transitions across several European countries;
- Advising an industrial client in the investigation and exits of two employees who had engaged into criminal activities (embezzlement of company’s assets and fraud)
