Kasper is an associate in Freshfields’ Securities & Shareholder Litigation practice based in New York where he represents clients in high-stakes securities class actions and shareholder derivative litigation, with a focus on complex matters involving public companies and financial institutions.
Prior to joining the firm, Kasper was an associate at Reed Smith LLP where he represented clients in the finance, sports & entertainment, and cryptocurrency industries in a wide range of complex commercial litigations, arbitrations, and regulatory investigations. Kasper began his career at Weil, Gotshal & Manges LLP, where he gained significant experience representing large public companies and their directors in connection with securities and shareholder suits and regulatory investigations.
Kasper earned his J.D. from Cornell Law School and earned his B.A. from St. John’s University graduating summa cum laude. During law school, Kasper served as an Articles Editor on the Cornell Law Review.
