Nikolaas is based in our Brussels office leading the Brussels tax team.
His practice encompasses a diverse range of Belgian and cross-border tax work, advising clients - including corporations, financial instutions, funds and family offices - on transformational projects such as private and public M&A, corporate restructurings, real estate investment and capital market transactions. He has a particular expertise in finance tax and equity-based compensation. Nikolaas is well-versed in regulated sectors, including energy, finance and tech.
He also regularly represents clients in administrative, judicial and arbitration proceedings. He regularly secures tax rulings and advises clients in MAP procedures to resolve double taxation.
He speaks Dutch, English and French.
