Tina is a partner in our antitrust, competition and trade practice, based in San Francisco and Silicon Valley. A battle-hardened trial lawyer, Tina draws on her extensive experience in antitrust, intellectual property, and consumer-protection matters to help technology companies navigate and win their most critical and complex disputes. She has tried cases and handled appeals before courts and agencies across the country, including in some of the most significant antitrust and IP trials of the past decade.
Tina maintains an active pro bono practice and has represented individuals, organizations, and classes in civil rights, women’s health, and environmental impact litigation.
Tina’s experience includes advising:
- Google on its acquisition of Wiz for $32 billion.
- Google in the trial of U.S. v. Google, an antitrust case concerning Google’s advertising technology. Tina also represents Google in parallel state-enforcer and private follow-on actions.
- Qualcomm in the trial and landmark successful appeal of the FTC’s challenge to Qualcomm’s business model, as well as follow-on class actions.
- An automaker OEM in its efforts to recover damages from one of the largest antitrust cartel matters ever investigated.
- Google and Lucasfilm in an antitrust class action concerning alleged no-hire agreements.
- A network security company in district court and Patent Trials and Appeals Board proceedings involving over a dozen patents and a business-threatening demand for injunctive relief.
- Software developers in jury trials over patents relating to security, user interfaces, and content recommendations.
- A cellular technology company in multiple cases concerning cellular and networking patents.
- A technology and communications platform in consumer-protection litigation and investigations by multiple state attorneys general.
