Philipp advises across borders to all questions relating to new technologies, data privacy and media. He focuses on advice in technology-driven projects, negotiations of all types of agreement in the digital context as well as complying with the General Data Protection Regulation. Furthermore, he advises on the protection of social and health data and has specific expertise regarding all legal questions on IT security.
After completing his studies at the University of Münster, Philipp wrote his doctoral thesis on copyright law. In parallel to writing his doctoral thesis, he worked as a research assistant at the Institute for Information, Telecommunications and Media Law. He completed his legal traineeship in Münster, Prague and Hamburg (amongst others at the German Embassy in Prague).
