Amani Khalifa

My name is Amani Khalifa and I am a disputes partner based in Riyadh. My practice is focused on regional projects in the Middle East. Prior to joining Freshfields I worked in my own practice in Cairo. Being from the region, qualified in Egypt and fluent in the language and culture has been a really important component of my practice as we strive to help clients from the region as well as global clients manage and mitigate risk.

I am also active in the sports sector and regularly involved in cases involving match fixing (as an anticorruption hearing officer of the International Tennis Integrity Agency) and antidoping. I really love the mix of work at Freshfields and being able to combine client work with sitting as an arbitrator.
