Freshfields advises Mammut Sports Management on sale to CPE

Global law firm Freshfields has advised Mammut Sports Group AG and its management in connection with the acquisition of the company by CPE. Jacobs Capital sold the company to the Chinese alternative asset manager.

Founded in 1862, Mammut is a Swiss outdoor company that offers mountain sports enthusiasts around the world high-quality products and unique brand experiences. With its combination of hardware, footwear and apparel, Mammut is one of the most comprehensive providers in the outdoor market. Mammut Sports Group AG operates in around 51 countries and employs approximately 900 people.

With the acquisition of Mammut Sports Group AG by CPE, the company gains a new long-term growth partner. CPE will support the Swiss company in particular in accelerating its global growth in Asia and North America.
