Freshfields advises Deutsche Glasfaser on successful completion of recapitalisation transaction

Global law firm Freshfields has advised Deutsche Glasfaser, one of Germany’s leading fibre optic infrastructure platforms, on all aspects of a major recapitalisation transaction. The transaction provides the group with significant fresh capital and amends its senior financial debt, establishing a stable, long-term capital structure to support its ongoing business.

The amendment of the group’s senior financial liabilities was implemented via an English scheme of arrangement.

Freshfields deployed a multi-jurisdictional and multi-practice team across London, Hamburg, Dusseldorf and Frankfurt to deliver this successful outcome.
