Partners Beth George, Timothy Howard and Giles Pratt have been named to Cybersecurity Docket’s Incident Response Elite for 2026. The list recognizes the best incident response lawyers in the industry.
Beth serves as the firm’s Global Head of Strategic Risk and Crisis Management, based in San Francisco. She has worked at senior levels across the U.S. federal government, most recently serving as the Acting General Counsel of the U.S. Department of Defense in 2021. With a deep background in national security and technology, Beth regularly advises boards of both private and public companies on risk management and governance, including advising on governance related to artificial intelligence, data practices and cybersecurity, content management, and geopolitical events.
Tim serves as the firm’s Global Co-Head of Data and Technology, based in New York. He has over a decade of high-ranking government experience, including serving as Chief of the Complex Frauds and Cybercrime Unit for the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of New York and a detail to the Counterintelligence and Export Control Section of the U.S. Department of Justice’s National Security Division. Tim leverages his extensive government, in-house, and private practice experience to counsel clients on complex internal and government-facing criminal and regulatory investigations, compliance exercises, data security matters, and related civil litigation.
Giles serves as the firm’s Global Head of IP/Data Practice and Global Co-Head of AI, based in London. He advises on the full range of legal issues relating to data, including IP protection and data privacy matters, particularly in the context of deals, crises, investigations, and new data uses and analytics including AI. Giles’ AI practice includes advising a large number of tech and other businesses on strategic AI governance, AI-focused collaborations and licensing deals, and AI-related investigations.
