Freshfields advises DFS on the sale of its US LAX and SFO travel retail business
Global law firm Freshfields is advising DFS Group L.P. (“DFS”) on the transfer of DFS's travel retail concessions in Los Angeles International Airport (“LAX”) and San Francisco International Airport (“SFO”) to Duty Free Americas (“DFA”), a family-owned and operated business that is part of the Falic Group and the largest travel retail operator in the Americas and a leading operator worldwide. The transaction is expected to close in Q2 2026, subject to customary closing conditions.
