Global law firm Freshfields is pleased to announce that Molly Lewis and Cat Greenwood-Smith have been appointed as the incoming Executive Co-Chairs of PRIME, the legal sector’s leading alliance focused on improving access to, and socio-economic diversity within, the profession. 

Molly and Cat will succeed Elizabeth Roberts, who is stepping down after three years of outstanding service as Executive Chair, following an earlier period as a dedicated member of PRIME’s Board. They will take up the role in January 2026, jointly leading PRIME at a pivotal moment for the charity as it looks to build on its strong foundations, deepen its impact, and continue driving meaningful, long-term change across the legal industry.  

Freshfields has been a member of PRIME since its inception in 2011 and as Executive Co-Chairs, Molly and Cat will work closely with PRIME’s Board, members and partners to grow the charity’s community, strengthen collaboration across the profession, and further embed social mobility as a core priority for law firms and in-house legal teams alike. Their focus will include expanding PRIME’s reach, supporting members to deliver high-quality work experience and outreach programmes, and showcasing best practice and evidence-based approaches that help widen access to the profession. 

Cat Greenwood-Smith, partner said:
