Global law firm Freshfields has advised BC Partners Real Estate on the sale of a laboratory and research and development campus in Warstein, Germany, fully let to DAX40-listed global semiconductor leader Infineon Technologies AG.
The transaction – which represents a high-double digit million valuation – comprises the sale of an existing building and a newly developed facility upon completion to a large US investor. The assets are fully pre-let to Infineon under long-term 25-year, CPI-linked, triple-net leases commencing upon practical completion of the new build development.
BC Partners Real Estate was launched in 2018 as a fully integrated platform within BC Partners. The transaction reflects BC Partners Real Estate’s experience in executing complex, large-scale exits and delivering high-quality, sustainable assets for blue-chip occupiers such as Infineon.
Freshfields advised BC Partners Real Estate comprehensively on corporate, real estate and finance matters.
