Freshfields advises APG on £1bn JV with Unibail-Rodamco-Westfield (URW)

Global law firm Freshfields advises Dutch pension fund manager APG on its joint venture with Unibail-Rodamco-Westfield (URW) relating to the £1bn St James Quarter in Edinburgh, a mixed-use scheme comprising one of the UK's leading shopping centre destinations, including an 850,000 sq. ft. retail galleria of 110 retail, leisure and dining units and a residential development of 152 apartments.
The Freshfields team was led by partner Will Bryant with partner David Seymour, associates Murad Cholak and William Kellett, all part of the firm's Private Equity Real Estate practice in London.
