Freshfields Advises the Underwriters in Pricing of OceanFirst’s Subordinated Noted Offering

Global law firm Freshfields advised Piper Sandler & Co. and Keefe, Bruyette & Woods, Inc. in connection with an SEC-registered offering by OceanFirst Financial Corp. (Nasdaq: “OCFC”) of $185m 6.375% Fixed-to Floating Rate Subordinated Notes due 2035. OceanFirst intends to use the net proceeds to repay existing indebtedness, to support growth initiatives at its subsidiaries and for general corporate purposes. OceanFirst is the holding company for OceanFirst Bank N.A., a regional bank serving business and retail customers throughout New Jersey and the major metropolitan areas between Massachusetts and Virginia.
