Global law firm Freshfields was awarded the Gideon Award from the Office of the Appellate Defender (OAD) for the firm’s commitment to indigent appellate defense through its longtime participation in OAD’s Volunteer Appellate Defender program. The firm has worked with the OAD since 2013. The award was presented at the OAD’s 32nd annual “First Monday in October” fundraiser gala on October 6, 2025.
