Freshfields advises Cencora on its acquisition of NextPharma Logistics

Global law firm Freshfields has advised Cencora, Inc. on the acquisition of NextPharma Logistics GmbH from NextPharma GmbH, a portfolio company of international private equity investor CapVest.

NextPharma Logistics provides pre-wholesaling and logistics services for a range of pharmaceutical and animal health clients from facilities in Germany, Austria and Switzerland.

Cencora is a leading pharmaceutical solutions organization, with operations in over 50 countries.

The Freshfields team was led by Partner Philipp Pütz and Principal Associate Maxim Gomer and further included Associates Nicole Schneider, Justus Hohenlohe (all Corporate/M&A, Düsseldorf), Partner Christian Ruoff and Associate Leon Liekefett (both Tax) as well as Principal Associate Elisabeth Wulf and Associate Zahar Qasim (both Commercial/IP/IT, all Hamburg).
