Freshfields advises on the US$530m listing of AUX Electric on HKSE
Freshfields has advised the sole sponsor, China International Capital Corporation Hong Kong Securities Limited and the underwriters on the Hong Kong and US law aspects of the US$530m listing of Aux Electric Co., Ltd. (‘AUX Electric’) on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange.
AUX Electric is one of the top air conditioner providers in the world, with capabilities covering the design, R&D, production, sales and related services of household and central air conditioners. It has operations in over 150 countries and ranked as the fifth-largest air conditioner supplier globally by sales volume in 2024, with a market share of 7.1%, according to Frost & Sullivan.
The Freshfields team was led by Head of China ECM and partner Richard Wang, and partner Howie Farn. They were supported by counsel Quan Zhou, senior associate Xinyu Wang, associates Yuwei Tian and William Sun, legal consultants Murphy Yi and Yuxin Lei, and US legal manager Kangdi Cheng.
