Global law firm Freshfields has advised the underwriters, China International Capital Corporation Hong Kong Securities Limited and CITIC Securities (Hong Kong) Limited, on the Hong Kong and US law aspects of the US$260m H share listing of SICC Co. Ltd. (‘SICC’) on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange.
SICC is a company listed on the Shanghai Stock Exchange STAR Market, with strong expertise in the wide bandgap semiconductor material industry, focusing on the research, development and industrialisation of silicon carbide (SiC) substrate. SICC is a key supplier to globally recognised semiconductor companies. The customers of SICC primarily utilise SiC substrates to manufacture power devices and radio frequency devices, which are ultimately applied to end products in sectors such as electric vehicles, AI data centers and photovoltaic systems.
