Global law firm Freshfields has represented leading international investors on a private placement tap issuance by Séché Environnement S.A. (“Séché Environnement”) of €70 million additional green bonds due 2030 which will become fungible with its existing €400 million green bonds due 2030 issued on March 25, 2025. The additional green bond issuance priced on July 30, 2025 and closed on August 6, 2025. Freshfields also advised Societe Generale, as placement agent, on the issuance. Séché Environnement will use the net proceeds from the issuance (i) for general corporate purposes, which may include investments in certain “Eligible Projects” in accordance with Séché Environnement’s sustainability framework, as well as to finance its continued growth, including certain acquisitions, and (ii) to pay the costs and expenses related to the placement of the additional bonds.
