Freshfields advised Ascen, a tech-enabled employer of record (EOR) service provider, on its sale to Lifted, an Upwork Company. Lifted was launched by Upwork, the world's work marketplace, to serve enterprise clients with a unified solution for all of their contingent workforce needs. Ascen will serve as a critical component of Lifted's capabilities.
