Global law firm Freshfields has advised Danish private equity firm GRO Capital (GRO) on its acquisition of AIMMS, a Netherlands-based pioneer in supply chain and decision optimisation software. The deal marks GRO’s first investment in the Benelux region.
AIMMS provides advanced modelling and optimisation software solutions used by global enterprises across industries such as manufacturing, logistics, retail and energy. Its client portfolio includes companies such as Heineken, ASML, Air Liquide, Maersk and Sainsbury’s. The partnership with GRO is expected to accelerate AIMMS’ products development and global expansion.
The acquisition aligns with GRO’s strategy of investing exceptional software companies across Northern Europe with strong market potential and differentiated technology.
