Freshfields advises Kee Safety and Intermediate Capital Group on a new investment from Inflexion and 65 Equity Partners

Freshfields is advising Kee Safety and Intermediate Capital Group plc ("ICG") on a new investment from Inflexion and 65 Equity Partners.  Kee Safety is a leading global supplier of fall protection and safe access products, services and training. The deal is subject to customary regulatory approvals and implies a valuation for Kee Safety of approximately £1.3 billion. 

ICG first invested in Kee Safety in 2021 and will remain involved as a minority shareholder, alongside the management team, and lender to the business. UK-based Kee Safety sells into 60 countries across Europe, the US, Asia and the Middle East.

The cross-practice Freshfields team was led by private capital partner Rebecca Ward and associates Stephanie Paterson, Samuel Christie and Hazel Ferguson with support from associate Nick Surgey, with partner Toby Bingley, principal associate Zita Leijnse and associate Mahesh Daryanani advising on financing matters and partner Emily Szasz and senior associate Chris Gotch advising on tax aspects.
