Lexology Index: Arbitration 2025 Recognises 49 Freshfields Lawyers
Dec 3 2024

In the Lexology Index: Arbitration 2025 analysis published on 22 November 2024, Freshfields was once again recognised as one of the top international arbitration law firms globally. This year, Freshfields had more listings than any other firm with 49 lawyers distinguished as leaders in the field – up from 46 lawyers last year.

Four of our partners are recognised as “Global Elite Thought Leaders”: Nigel Blackaby KC (Co-Head of our Latin America Practice, Washington, D.C.); Nicholas Lingard (Head of our International Arbitration Practice in Asia, Singapore and Tokyo); Noah Rubins KC (Head of our Global CIS/Russia dispute resolution practice group, Paris), and Sami Tannous (Partner and Regional Managing Partner for MENA, Dubai).

Matei Purice (Counsel, Paris) and Santiago Gatica (Senior Associate, New York) have also been included in the Lexology Index Client Choice Guide 2025. This recognises lawyers around the world that stand apart for the excellent client care they provide and the quality of their service.

The Lexology Index: Arbitration 2025 is the culmination of months of research by Lexology and GAR. The result is a report that represents 102 countries and more than 1,100 law firms, barristers’ chambers and consulting firms.

Below is the full list of Freshfields lawyers recognised by Lexology. Read the full report here.
