Freshfields Named US M&A Team of the Year by IFLR 2023

Freshfields is honored to be recognized as the M&A Team of the Year by International Financial Law Review (IFLR), as announced at the IFLR Americas Awards ceremony on May 18, 2023, in New York City. Freshfields was also a finalist in the CFIUS Team of the Year contest and had two finalist deals competing for US M&A Deal of the Year (BP/Archaea Energy and Ericsson/Vonage).

The IFLR Americas Awards celebrate the year’s most innovative cross-border deals and the teams behind them. Team awards including US M&A Team of the Year apply to a firm’s entire practice and are based exclusively on a team’s work structuring innovative deals. The 2023 research cycle received a record-breaking number of submissions from law firms and other institutions.
