Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer (‘Freshfields’) has provided Hong Kong and U.S. law advice to AustAsia Group Ltd. on the global offering and listing of its shares on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange (‘HKSE’). Trading in the shares commenced today (30 December 2022).  The transaction also constitutes a spin-off listing by way of a distribution in specie by Singapore-listed Japfa Ltd. of its entire shareholding in AustAsia Group to Japfa shareholders.

AustAsia Group Ltd. is one of the top five dairy farm operators in China in terms of sales volume, sales value and production volume of raw milk in 2021.
