Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer (‘Freshfields’) is advising Warburg Pincus, the leading global private equity firm focused on growth investing, on its investment in Quantexa, the data and analytics software company pioneering Contextual Decision Intelligence, as part of a $153 million series D funding round.

The latest fundraising round was led by Warburg Pincus and a growing group of blue-chip investors, including Dawn Capital, AlbionVC, Evolution Equity Partners, HSBC, ABN AMRO Ventures and British Patient Capital.

Quantexa will use the investment to accelerate its plans for regional market expansion and build out its product portfolio development further in areas like data management and industry verticals such a Banking, Insurance, Public Sector and TMT.

The Freshfields team advising on the transaction is led by London partners Patrick Ko and Giles Pratt, Senior Associate Ahmad Khokher and Associate Stephanie Paterson.
